Marketing Campaign
01 · The Seed
All Bottoms Up is a true Texas-style bar in Harker Heights: sand volleyball courts, karaoke contests, live music, and drink specials running seven nights a week. What they didn't have was a way to get all of that into customers' hands. They came to me for photo selections and postcard designs: a print campaign that could carry a very full calendar without reading like a spreadsheet.
02 · The Groundwork
The strategy was to make print do double duty. Each piece had to sell one big idea at arm's length: the volleyball court, the ice-cold pint, the free koozie. It also had to quietly carry the full weekly lineup for anyone who kept it. And every design routed back to the same call to action, an SMS keyword texted to a short code, so a postcard picked up off a bar top could turn into a subscriber the bar could reach every week.
03 · The Growth
The core piece is a double-sided 4x6 postcard that splits the week in half: Sunday through Tuesday on the front, Wednesday through Saturday on the back. Each day header is set in glittery, hand-textured type in purple, green, blue, and red over a sandy ground, with beach volleyball photography selected to put the bar's court culture front and center. The bar's armadillo badge, flat on its back on a Texas flag, anchors every layout.
The 11x17 poster flips the mood: a condensation-beaded pint glass against the warm blur of the back bar, with a free koozie offer and the short code doing the talking. A nighttime companion postcard, all heels and cocktails on the bar top, invites regulars to text in a song request. Every format signs off the same way: phone number, web address, keyword.

04 · The Bloom
What All Bottoms Up got was a matched family of postcards and posters that reads as one campaign: same armadillo badge, same sand-and-sky palette, same call to action on every piece. Print designed to get kept, not tossed: a schedule worth pinning up, a keyword worth texting, and a brand that looks as fun as the bar actually is.
